New pilots Oiconomy Pricing available

During the last months four companies have been active in applying Oiconomy Pricing for one of their products. Tradin Organic applied it for their cocoa liquor produced from single origin beans originating from Sierra Leone. Moyee used it to analyze their roasted coffee sourced from Mizan, Ethiopia, where the fresh coffee cherries are cultivated by local farmers and processed by local professionals. Verstegen applied Oiconomy Pricing for a second time, looking at cinnamon bark sourced from Kerinci, Sumatera, Indonesia. The cassia cinnamon tree is grown in a remote forest setting by smallholders and sold to local collectors. It takes 15 to 25 years to grow cinnamon. Finally, Arte applied it for a second time for another kitchen countertop, with supply lines form Spain and other countries. This time the piloting companies used the Oiconomy Sustainability Assessment Tool v2.04, which was revised after the first pilot.
