Training Oiconomy Ambassadors
On 6th and 7th September, the Oiconomy team trained six Oiconomy Ambassadors in applying the Oiconomy Pricing tool. The Oiconomy Ambassadors are second-year students from the Masters programmes “Sustainable Development” and “Sustainable Business Innovation” at Utrecht University.
During the training, the participants first got introduced to the Oiconomy Pricing key principles by the founder of the method himself, Dr. Pim Croes. Thereafter, Larissa van der Feen and Beatriz Daim shared their experience of implementing the Oiconomy Pricing with the three pilot companies Arte, Verstegen and ADMC. For the rest of the course, the Oiconomy Ambassadors had to solve a case study on the production of a windshield, completing the Oiconomy Pricing tool. To round off, the participants gave a brief presentation of their results, and potential impact mitigation options throughout the supply chain.
The Oiconomy Ambassadors will support the companies in the second round of pilots starting in late October 2022 with implementing the Oiconomy Pricing tool.
